Karsten Topelmann
Karsten Topelmann studied at the Royal Academy of Art in his native Munich and has painted ever since. He came to the United States in 1955. In 1973, he left an art directorship in Chicago to move with his wife and children to Door County, Wisconsin. Karsten has gained a particularly enduring reputation for his flower and landscape paintings, in both watercolor and oils. His various prints and greeting cards are very popular.
